Meet Phil Creek: The creator behind "Weedle Deeds"

Weedle Deeds was started on May 5th, 2016 by Phil Creek.

   About the Creator:

Phil Creek is a native of Arkansas and currently resides in S.E. Kansas. Mr. Creek has been involved in several state and national elections at the volunteer level. Most notably in retired general Wes Clark's 2008 bid for the democratic nomination as well as Sen. Bernie Sanders campiagn, particularly in the state of Kansas, which Bernie Sanders won in March of 2016. With a background in journalism and political views evolved towards the concepts of Democratic Socialism, Mr. Creek's dismay at what he viewed as extreme bias towards establishment, status-qou coverage both online as well as within the Main Stream Media convinced him to start a progressive site for the progressively minded. And so...

Weedle Deeds was created to provide an alternative source of progressive news, opinions, and features free of corporate or "Main Stream" influence. As such, Weddle Deeds does not offer advertising or promote products or services for business. Weedle Deeds depends on donations in order to provide what we view as a MUCH needed news and information source for the progressively minded, as such we are 100% reader-funded. We simply wish to offer a fresh, politically progressive prospective of the events of the day.
